When we listened to the stars: a Spiritual Awakening to remember

Last night as I was looking at the night sky, something I do every night as a ritual, I experienced a powerful ‘remembering’ that rooted me to the spot as if I was a statue: there was a time when we watched the movements of the planets and stars with only our eyes, and understood what their movements meant. We could communicate with them, and they would provide advice and warnings. And not just the stars and planets; galactic civilisations as well.
In this moment, and I’ve no idea how long it lasted, I saw how the great deserts with their vast skies and terrestrial emptiness provided the best conditions for this communication. The earthly astronomers found their wisdom here in the stories the stars told them, which they then shared with others.
It is the second powerful and profound ‘remembering’ that I’ve experienced in the past couple of months, and each time, I know with complete certainty that this is not some story concocted by my imagination, but something I know in my soul; something that has surfaced from the archives of my soul’s experience, which in time as measured on Earth may be hundreds of thousands or millions of years old. Although, time means nothing to the eternal soul.
Our spiritual awakening to remember
There are moments on the journey of awakening where we ‘remember’ an aspect of ourselves that is not stored in our current consciousness. This ‘remembering’ does not come from memory, because we only have memories accumulated in this current life; it comes from our higher intelligence, which is an energy body, and when some part of it arises to become knowledge, it is a soul experience. It isn’t an experience that we can force to the surface; it tends to arrive spontaneously and with an energy that grips you, glues you to the spot. Now you must look at it, and the knowing that what you’re experiencing is truth, rises fast in your consciousness. When it lets you go, you may feel disoriented, perhaps slightly dizzy if you’re not lying down, or as if a mist fogged your brain temporarily and you’re trying to shake yourself out of it.
Why did we forget?
In a nutshell: we forgot in order to remember one day. It has been a long time coming, this remembering of all that we are and all that we are capable of as soul-spirit entities. However, the stars have aligned this year to help us remember; you only have to watch some of astrologer Pam Gregory’s videos on YouTube to be aware of this, and there are many other astrologers talking about it. You’ll find the one that resonates with you. For me, it’s Pam.
The human mind is too limited to conceive of the vast power of I AM. The human mind only knows what it has learnt in this life, but our unconscious, connected to our higher intelligence, knows everything and can retrieve information from across dimensions and pull it into the consciousness that is bound by notions of time and history, past and future. It leaves the mind confused, but the awakened individual enlightened.
The astronomer awakens
Personally, this experience reminded me that for the last few years I have been entranced by the night sky. I barely thought much of it before. I feel the presence of a past life when I stare at the night sky, and after I’d retreated from staring out my bedroom window, I remembered something else: on 28th December 2024, I wrote this in Notes on my phone:
Why did you want to become an astronomer?
I was enchanted by the stars. How were they lit up? What illuminated them? Was it some light source that switched them on when darkness fell? These questions stayed with me and I started to study them scientifically. Now I’m considered an expert, if that is really a thing!
But what I love most about studying the stars is that it is so peaceful there. There is only a dance that never stops, directed by a multitude of energy fields all flowing and changing the balance of their unique characteristics that influence Earth, which is part of the dance, and all moves in harmony.
We should not touch other planets. We may sail around them, capture their image or lightly visit, but we should not try to inhabit, or use them for our benefit in any way. We must not touch others or we will tilt the universe in a way that makes it step off the beat, just a fraction. That has consequences.
I have no idea why I wrote this, or where it came from, but if I have to define it somehow, even if just for myself, I’d say it’s me Eleanor communicating another me in another dimension, or what we call a past life.
Why was this remembering important?
It was important because now I know this is something we can all do: we can communicate with what we call space and everything in it, just as we can communicate with animals, trees, plants and water. We may have forgotten the ease with which we were once able to do this, but now we are remembering we can do it, the skill is returning. All we have to do is open our hearts to receiving messages and practise.
